Indian Trail Improvement District’s Board of Supervisors have established an enhanced surface stabilization policy for local service roads. Property owners are now able to formally request Enhanced Surface Stabilization on local service roads. This process will allow the majority of property owners with access to petition the Board to have Enhanced Surface Stabilization. The petition will also identify the type of Stabilization requested.

The petitioner will be responsible for all costs associated with labor and materials as it relates to asphalt and prime coat. The District shall receive the full (100%) cost of asphalt and prime coat plus a 15% contingency prior to any work being done. Any remaining amounts will be refunded to the petitioners, shortages shall be payable by the petitioners to ITID.

An administrative petition application fee of $500 is required to accompany the petition. Professional fees of $2,000 must accompany the petition. Professional fees are accrued on an hourly basis, once construction is complete any remaining professional fees will be refunded to the petitioners, shortages shall be payable by the petitioners to ITID.
